This spring 2013 season was Saint Laurent’s first show with new creative director Hedi Slimane. The collection pulls references from things from the brands past. There was a tan suede dress and black leather jacket that strongly referenced the famous safari jacket. The hats, pants and blouses looked like updated versions of Saint Laurent pieces that we have in our store from before the brand’s name was changed to Yves Saint Laurent (and now it is without the Yves again.) The looks are beautiful! Capes, blazers, flowing bohemian dresses,leather, tailored pants, gold and black jewelry. Perfection. If I could I would buy every piece!
